About Annual Membership / How to join the JSOP
The Japan Society of Oral Pathology (JSOP) issues the English Journal of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, Medicine, and Pathology (e-journal) to members six times a year.
Membership applications are accepted either by email or post. The application fee is 1,000 JPY and the annual membership fee is 10,000 JPY.
The annual membership fee for students is 2,000 JPY. If you are a student, please notify the JSOP when you register. Once you are no longer entitled to student membership, please upgrade to general membership without delay.
When the membership application form has been received, JSOP will notify you the receipt confirmation with the receipt number (temporary membership number). The JSOP considers that the confirmation of your payment will complete the application procedure. After we confirm your payment, we will inform you of the completion of the application procedure and your official membership number. Please contact the JSOP Office if you do not receive notification about the receipt of your membership application and/or the completion of the membership process.
* The JSOP’s fiscal year runs from June 1st to May 31st. Therefore, those who join before or during May are required to pay their membership fee for the current fiscal year and will also be billed for the following fiscal year starting in June. Please carefully consider the timing of your application.

1. Please download, and fill in the membership application form and attach the application form to an email and inform the JSOP Office.

2. Please send a total of 11,000 yen, including the application fee of 1,000 JPY and the annual membership fee of 10,000 JPY by bank transfer to the following account.

1. Please contact the JSOP Office should you wish to apply by post. We will send you the membership application form and transfer request form.
2. Please send a total of 11,000 JPY, including the application fee of 1,000 JPY and the annual membership fee of 10,000 JPY, by bank transfer.
3. Please fill in the membership application form and send it back to the JSOP Office.
